No fun, either. 4 issues that meander and meander and meander. What was the pitch? Best character is Domino's new hair. 1 star.

Wolverine by Ahmed and Coccolo. I'm not sure yet. It seems fine. Wolverine's not a favorite of mine, though I liked Percy's run. The adamantium zombie thing is really uninteresting to me. Bring back Solem ASAP. Potential great nemesis / LOVER for Wolvie. I like Wendigo. I also like Logan! 3 stars.

X-Factor by Russell and Quinn. Wish I liked this. Wish I understood who this was for. A comedy book that isn't very funny, mostly just depressing. The ultimate post-Krakoa book. Unfunny tiktok satire. At least get Garth Ennis next time you make self hating slop like this. 1 star. Still reading it.

X-Force by Thorne and To. What are we doing here? I just don't see the point of this book. It's a team book that never feels like a team, featuring characters we know nothing about. It seems that might be changing soon. I adore the art, I wish Betsy and Rachel were interesting at all. 2 stars.

Nyx by Kelly, Lanzig, and Mortarino... Mixed feelings. I guess I like the cast, not sure what we're doing here. Kinda squandered Empath for now, who I think has Big Bad potential. The community / NYC aspect is hurt by Marvel's NICEWORLD policies. I yearn for more, but I yearn for Krakoa. 3 stars.

Exceptional X-Men by Eve Ewing and Cameron Carnero RULES. My favorite book of this era, easily. Writing is exciting AND grounded, character work is already legendary. All the new characters are competing for my fave, and this is a book starring KITTY PRYDE. Axo is the best tho. 5 stars! I need more.

Uncanny X-Men by Gail Simone and David Marquez has an excellent team working on an excellent team, but it feels WEIRD. Obviously there's familiarity with the characters, but they've never felt this spaced out and melodramatic- even in the 90s. I like the Outliers, I wish I liked Rogue. 2.5 stars.

X-Men by Mackay and Stegman is interesting so far, definitely my favorite between the leading two titles. Mackay does excellent character writing but I wonder where this is all leading. Maybe I shoulda waited till after Raid on Graymalkin event is over. Nah. Cyclops is the best. 3.5 stars

finished yu yu hakusho after like 5 sessions of reading it. extremely flawed series. togashi's art is fucking amazing and he had some legit brilliant ideas (chapter black, sensui's relationship with itsuki, kuwabara) but almost all of them go nowhere ultimately. the best violence in manga, period.
