Is the Pentagon planning to hit the Sackler's with a kinetic strike next time they go out in their yacht(s)? Because that would actually make some sense.

I need somone out there to make a photo/music montage that just flips back and forth between this photo of Trump and Mamdani with “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” playing and this photo of Stephen Miller with “Somebody That I Used to Know” playing.

There are two types of troops being deployed on US streets, fascists and victims of fascism. Those are the only two option right now.

Every time I think Hakeem Jeffries can’t possibly suck more he comes out with a statement that shows that I have underestimated his level of suck once again.

If a Republican went on a shooting spree and accidentally killed a wanted criminal in the process.

Democrat leadership would be like, “We disagree on many things, but we must give him credit for stopping a criminal.”

Promising to pardon the sandwich guy (should he be convicted) is a requisite for any candidate to get my vote in the next Democratic presidential primary.

In addition to being afraid of sandwiches “alpha” conservatives go on Fox to talk about how scared they are of walking/driving in DC. Never underestimate the extent to which conservatives are weak little twits afraid of their own shadows and the extent to which this explains their entire ideology.
I would love it if we as a movement mocked the right for being fucking scared bedwetting babies about everything. I tried to advocate for this back in Bush days but it didn’t take. THEYRE FUCKING WEAK ASS SCARED BABIES TERRIFIED OF SANDWICHES AND TRANS PEOPLE AND BEING TOLD THEIR JOKES SUCK
“He thought it was funny” said Judge Pirro. “Well, he doesn’t think it is funny today”. www.nytimes.com/2025/08/13/u... She confirmed the sandwich was from Subway as many had speculated. The perp confessed: “I did it. I threw the sandwich .”

Once again, the Dems are letting the GOP be the face of reform.

They've let Trump be the guy talking about marijuana reform. They've let Massie lead the congressional effort to promote the stories of Epstein and Maxwell's victims.

Dem leadership playing to lose.

Bessent says he’ll push to end congressional stock trading
House and Senate GOP leaders have sought to address bipartisan efforts to ban members of Congress from trading individual stocks.

The failure of Dems is that they gave up trying to change opinions on issues. Instead of selling people on what policies are good, they spend millions to decipher what some ill-defined average American already thinks, and then millions more trying to convince that person that's what they think too.

This is why Dems should be gerrymandering the shit out of every place possible. It’s stupid to think that Republicans will ever get behind an anti-gerrymandering law when they benefit more from it. Gerrymander everywhere and then come to the table with federal anti-gerrymandering bills.
Reminder that in 2021, Senate Republicans filibustered a bill that would have banned partisan gerrymandering of congressional districts.
August 6, 2025 at 11:44 AM
It's crazy to me that Dems don't gerrymander the shit out of every single place they can do it safely. At this point it doesn't matter what Texas does. We can continue to try to pass anti-gerrymandering legislation at the federal level but until then we should be using every lever of power we have.

Trumpism is mostly Reaganism with no guardrails or fear of electoral payback. And Reaganism was mostly just the Nixon/Goldwater “Southern Stratagy” with a celebrity face. And all that was just Jim Crowe Dixiecrat shit in a different party. And the they were just the dregs of the Confederacy.

Every single day that Schumer and Jefferies are leaders of their respective caucuses is an abject failure of the Democratic Party. If change doesn't come before midterms, the midterms will be a wasted opportunity.

Gotta admit, Trump is doing a pretty good job of owning the Libs. He is after all fucking over everyone and fucking up everything and the Libs are a subgroup of everyone and everything.

Love how abolishing ICE, an organization with ridiculous extra judicial powers that didn’t exist before 2003, is considered extreme. But abolishing the parts of the government that actually improve peoples lives, that’s totally mainstream.
