not sure how to square ‘no one person can be reasonably expected to pay for every media subscription’ with ‘sorely underpaid writers need to make a living’ but my inclination is not to locate that problem with any of the broke ass people on either end of the complaint

I got sent an early key for this one and I REALLY need to play more because almost every second has been a joy.
As with Analgesic's other games it's slightly dreamlike and fragmented-feeling, but it leans so hard into that, with level design, storytelling, prose and even gameplay mechanics unbound.

2. Write a small blurb about each game. A few sentences should be good, but let's not write entire IGN reviews here okay? We don't mind reading full paragraphs, but please be kind, these podcasts take us 7+ hours to record.
3. Email your submission to podcast [at-sign] socksmakepeoplesexy.net BY THE END OF DECEMBER 12TH. We'll be recording the Game of the Year episodes on around midday December 13th and 14th, so this is pretty easy to understand. its so weird to me when people say something like “im interested to see where this series/franchise began” and what they mean is theyre gonna play a remake of the first game. Like, thats not really where it began, its a reinterpretation. It has a different appeal and much less historical meaning

That much money financing games by actual game developers would have financed 150+ of the highest budget AAA games, and the several orders of magnitude more jobs to produce them. Instead it was burned failing to produce advertiser-safe Second Life.

automaps are one of my fav things in games, but also are there any games where instead of a map that's exactly correct and tracks your position, instead it's just like mostly correct and not dynamic? so you have to read the map and compare it to your location to figure out where you are
