I'm happy just to see Obama out there acting like what Trump is doing matters. That's worth breaking the implicit norm of former Presidents keeping a low profile.

But really I think Dem electeds are just overthinking this. Thermostasis + stove-touching gives them room to speak from their chests.
Barack Obama just delivered a blistering takedown of Trump's lawlessness. Importantly, Obama also offered Dems a way to argue that Trump's dictatorial abuses of power and his imminent wreckage of the economy are the same story.

New piece from me:

Obama’s Blistering New Takedown of Trump Gives Dems a Way Forward
In an appearance on Thursday, the former president laid out the connection between Trump’s lawlessness and—yes—the price of eggs. Will other Democrats follow?

No coincidence perhaps that Sackets Harbor is the home of Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s border czar.

Turning in their own neighbors and their kids classmates is like catnip to MAGA acolytes. They live for the cruelty of it.

A federal judge has ruled DOGE is wielding so much power that its records will likely have to be opened to the public under federal law.

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper said the "unprecedented" authority of DOGE warrant the release of documents under FOIA. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...
Judge orders urgent release of DOGE records, citing ‘unprecedented’ power and ‘unusual secrecy’
It’s the first significant ruling in a growing legal push to pierce DOGE’s secretive veil, a decision that undercuts Musk’s repeated insistence about the operation’s transparency.

If you want to know if the boycott was effective, look at the website traffic numbers.

On February 28th, Target traffic was down 9%. Walmart’s 5%. Amazon even lost traffic that day.

Who gained?
Traffic to Costco’s website went up 22%!! 👀

Keep going.

They’re the same thing.

now would be a good time for liberals to make a massive investment in progressive media. decades of relying on the ny times/wapo/ap/cnn has been a failure and they're now more right-wing than ever. everything is turning into a miniature fox news and liberals dont want to put money into this.
