crazy how much this bugs me now that someone pointed it out. if i worked at the white house, i would find this ugly, but not as annoying as i do now. ignorance is really bliss bc they more you learn, the more you just walk around thinking "collar gap" and "kerning is off."
Sign at the White House says "The Presidential Walk of Fame." The "T" and "h" in the first letter are slightly off in spacing when compared to the "h" and "e."

First, the federal government getting its economic data from DoorDash is a bit alarming.

Second, people who use DoorDash pay an average of $63 for a meal from McDonald's. Sort of an odd place to look to gauge sensitivity to the cost of food.

Space food made from astronaut urine to be tested on ISS • The European Space Agency launched the HOBI-WAN program to test Solein, a powdered protein, and began funding its ground development for potential use aboard the International Space Station. • Because transporting food from Earth is impractical for distant missions, the European Space Agency says long-duration missions need sustainable solutions recycling crew and habitat life-support systems. • Using gas fermentation, Solein production by Solar Foods relies on microbes fed hydrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen from urea in urine; Earth methods need adapting for microgravity, Arttu Luukanen said. • ESA says the project is developing a key capability for future space exploration and could reduce reliance on Earth supplies by recycling crew outputs into nutrition.

I had a conversation with my sister last night and realized how profoundly better my life is because decades ago I left and moved 500 miles to get away from them all.

My siblings are all so batshit bananas crazy and enmeshed in each other’s lives and the unnecessary drama is off the charts.
