The person apologising for failing to pass on the Sydney neo-Nazi rally protest information is the Deputy NSW Police Commisioner.

He was recently the acting NSW Police Commissioner and applied for the top job.

But 3 months ago he was passed over for the Commissioner's job.

Yes, indeed 😎

They all seem to be reading from Graeme Richardson's book "whatever it takes" and is pathetic. The ALP aim for Australia just seems to be in govt & do bad populist policy along with the Libs. That is a lose-lose for us
“Labor sources have told ABC Investigations the prime minister's office has been putting pressure on advocates for gambling reform within the parliamentary Labor party to prevent them from speaking up.”
So pathetic. Backbenchers scared of taking a moral position, Albanese scared of any reform.
'Broad, unspoken consensus': silent Labor MPs want action on gambling
Andrew Wilkie has asked the PM to allow a free vote on banning gambling advertising and it appears many Labor MPs would support it.

When I look at Murray Watt and see his performance as an application for a post politics career as a fossil fuel lobbyist, this all makes total sense. #auspol #ShameYouBastards
Murray Watt says Nats “didn’t even rate 4% of the vote” in the last election yet they’re “dictating terms” to the Libs.
