Nobody "pushed" any of these men to be anything - including some mystical Dark Curse that's released from accruing a certain level of money.

Facebook originated as a website to harass girls at Zuck's school.

Elon is an emerald heir from ApartheidLand.

They are who they are.
The idea that Dems ostracized Musk and pushed him reluctantly into the arms of the GOP is so absurd. He has billions in contracts from a Democratic administration; Pentagon officials defer to him per the New Yorker; Chuck Schumer hosted him in the Senate less than 18 months ago.

Dear Tech Companies,

No. We don't want "A.I." anything.

We don't want A.I. social media "friends."
We don't want A.I.-generated news reporters or anchors.
We don't want A.I. to curate our music or make our movies.

We REALLY don't want A.I. put in charge of our insurance claims or kids' education.

Last week, I had the privilege of chatting with Bryce Dallas Howard about #SkeletonCrew. We talk about pirate shanties and more! Will I ever get through an interview without mentioning #TheHighRepublic?

Pretty much sums up the approach of the tech industry now – trying to force us to accept a thing that is unnecessary and also looks like ass, and that was generated through theft of labor and intellectual property

Agreed and I say that as a rare scent of a woman defender
He should have won Best Actor for this
- this electric confrontation when X shows his control of the situation to Peter Boyle’s police captain.
His brief cocky smile to Boyle grounds & humanises X.
It’s just one of the many telling & smart moments in Washington’s finest performance.

“I will make it canon.”
In the NEW JEDI ORDER movies, I would like to see 'Neel' as the Chancellor of the New Republic (very much resembling his father 'Nol' but without the receding hairline, perhaps)... with an unnamed spouse who happens to speak with a French accent. 🔮

"No, this is the blue thing that runs."

"Lion King?"
"Again? Okay. Sure. Olive Garden after, yea?"

The "MUFASA vs SONIC3" thing is stupid corporate team sports sh-- and everyone 'participating' should be embarrassed but the lion movie "winning" Xmas Day is objectively funny b/c you KNOW it's entirely because of families going and everyone over 50 voting "absolutely the f--- NO."

I would totally be down for a Mike Leigh drama in which James Bond tracks down his birth mother and is unable to go into any detail about what he does for a living
Mike Leigh imagines what a #Bond film directed by him would look like:

"The entire film would be James Bond visiting his elderly mother in a suburban house, spending a bit of time with her, and then leaving," he tells Empire.

Review - "MUFASA: THE LION KING"
Kinda fun when it's a very silly JRPG about a party of bickering melodramatic lions and their monkey healer, significantly less so when it's another live-action Disney retread 'over-explaining' a cartoon because of old YouTube essayist jokes

Yeah, I expect my leash for the Reddit stuff will be longer than BB 2017 for three reasons it’s not a remake, I am a weirdo who doesn’t find lion King as sacred as BB, and if it does get bad, Jenkins direction can paper over , but this is the only time I will tolerate it
