Look, I don't care how much you all love sports, you can't be posting like that as long as Donald has the nukes without at least mentioning you're talking about baseball.

I’m not even much of a sports fan but BlueSky tonight is reminding me of Twitter of old.

Reminder: We spent YEARS reading thousands and thousands of articles on the Tea Party and how it was a true expression of the American people's will, and it never mounted anything nearly as big as Saturday's No Kings rallies. [1/3]

Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

Ted Cruz just posted a video montage with photos of every Democratic senator altered to make them wear sombreros and mustaches. It’s set to the song Macarena.

I’m going to be thinking about the phrase “drips with disdain and slavery” for a while.

I’m 56. I grew up in an old industrial eastern (PA) town that was socially conservative and Reagan red. I was intellectual, curious, awkward. I sensed at an early age that I was going to be perpetually on the losing side of national political dynamics but I did not imagine it would get this bad.

It is 100% carrying water for the opposition to participate in this collective delusion that Dems for some reason need to answer for every teen who throws a rock rather than hold the Trump admin accountable for intentionally creating chaos and breaking the law to stoke violence.

They are in charge.

Tyrants view educated citizens as their greatest enemy.

Slaveholders stopped the enslaved from learning to read. Nazis burned books. Dictators censor media.

That’s why Trump is attacking education, science, museums, and the arts – to prevent us from learning.

The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.
