I’m a Virginian and former Federal employee who left my job years short of retirement because I could not in good conscience continue to serve this administration. I know people are suffering now- many of them are my former colleagues. But caving is not what the moment requires.

And sexist.

Also worth noting that the DMV is flooded with former legitimate Federal communicators who cannot/will not find jobs.

This lesson seems impossible for us to learn.
