one thing i really resent is the way lizza, nuzzi and related parties have spent years acting like it’s their extreme reverence for american politics that allows them to slip inside the palace and tell their tales, regardless of party, when really they just wanted to be a part of the king’s court.

Disagree. The media failed to adequately cover Trump and they especially failed to cover Kennedy with the heft, seriousness, and alarm he warranted.
The fact that a major journalist was a hornball pervert for one of the worst actors in 2024 (RFK), who may have been the difference maker, matters.

Look I run up against this a fair amount when traveling. USians is just stupid and I've never heard it. I variously say "I'm from the states" or "I'm a New Yorker". If I'm solely amongst Brits "I am a Yank" will do. Your mileage may vary.
