Reminder - Exit polls are nonsense
Early exit poll data will be trickling in to the TV analysts now, so if you’re watching have a little fun and see who’s chipper and who isn’t.

If Fox start playing Swan Lake it’s all over.

He called Pelosi a b*tch in his last rally. How is that “scaling back his bravado”?
“Trump scales back his bravado”

“Worry and hope on last day of voting”

🧐😬🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

One last “Reverse Emails” & normalization of the far right authoritarianism for the road

4. It’s possible that control of the assembly comes down to just a few votes in one or two seats. Dems are very energized by the gerrymander ending.

5. Rural Wisco remains a tough spot for the Dems, esp with Trump on the ballot.

6. Baldwin looks set to outrun Harris. By how much we will see.

Some last thoughts on the election here in Wisco:

1. Turnout will be high on both sides. Independents will decide marginal races.

2. I think Van Orden is in trouble, but could see him still pulling it out b/c of Trump on the ballot.

3. The GOP should be worried about the Milwaukee suburbs.

Trump's field office in Bucks County, PA was *closed* yesterday. That is not the way to run a winning campaign.

I spent the weekend in Scranton, Pa., seeing what the campaigns were doing to boost voter turnout. Harris had a flood of volunteers. Trump had … little to nothing, focusing instead on the imaginary threat of illegal voting. Gift link: wapo.st/3UwfGgn
Column | Final GOP push in Pennsylvania focuses on imaginary voters over real ones
On the campaign’s last weekend, volunteers for Kamala Harris focused on turnout across Scranton, Pa., while Donald Trump supporters focused on stopping “fraud.”

Cohn did this CYA thread.

He expresses complete uncertainty, “no idea.”

And yet the NYT reporters use his polls throughout the cycle to report story after story about the electorate and the candidates’ strengths or weaknesses *as fact.*

Do he not see the problem here?

the contrast between Trump's two dystopian rallies today and this Harris event in Michigan is jarring

But the NYT is going to write years worth of cross tabs as fact articles
