After several attempts, I’m learning piano, and this time, it’s working for me. Why?

I’m learning to play and understand theory in the key of C first, internalizing basic progressions, starting with I-IV-V, and it’s really working. Transcribing songs in this progression to C and actually jamming.

NASA is more than rockets and moonwalks. NASA is behind much of our everyday technology. From space discovery, to Air Jordans, to CAT scans, NASA has played a role. We get it all on less than a penny of every federal dollar. Now their science may be gutted by 50%.

Can someone in immigration law explain to me how this is legal?
When ICE agents look like this, it is ENTIRELY APPROPRIATE for state and local law enforcement to step in and demand they identify themselves and show judicial warrants before detaining anyone from an immigration court.

Democratic mayor and governors can take action on this.

Genetic material shed by tumors can be detected in the bloodstream three years before cancer diagnosis, according to a study led by investigators at Johns Hopkins University.

That study was made possible with federal funding. Now, many studies like this are canceled. hub.jhu.edu/2025/06/04/...
Cancers can be detected in bloodstream three years prior to diagnosis
Detection of cancer before a clinical diagnosis could give patients and caregivers more time for intervention and may lead to better outcomes because tumors are more likely to be curable

Yeah, it's just obvious that someone who reads the NYT daily will encounter a lot more information that makes them skeptical of Trump than someone who doesn't.

Again, that doesn't mean that the Times can't do better than it is. But the idea that it played a major role in reelecting Trump is silly.
I’ll just reiterate that voters who read newspapers and watch the network news, the forms of media most readily attacked here for ‘sane washing’ (or whatever), were far more likely to not vote for Trump — www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...

it's Keith Jarrett's birthday. unplug yourself from the timeline long enough to play Bremen/Lausanne or the Japanese solo shows from '76 or Bregenz/Munich '81 or the Carnegie Hall show. Just hit play and close your eyes long enough to get inside the music. You will be glad you did.

Every single senator who voted to confirm Hegseth is equally responsible and owns this. Your confirmation served as a stamp of approval and your judgment shouldn't be trusted. This goes for every failure of any official confirmed by the Senate.
