I wrote this 9 months ago and got a lot of flack about it from many on the left. So many people want to believe that anyone can be elected in this country.

Michelle Obama, someone who would be an amazing President, echoed my point as the reason she won't run for the office.

A very young River Phoenix and siblings were skateboarding in a hotel lobby where I worked as a security guard. This was early in the morning before shooting of a film. I had to tell them that they could not skate there. Instead I opened up the tennis courts early each morning for them. Nice kids.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

This is yet another reason Schumer must go.
Trump is already defying the courts.

He has no more right to defy a district court than the Supreme Court.

Essentially saying all lower court rulings are optional for Trump is legally incorrect and irresponsible.
Schumer: "If he defies the Supreme Court, then we are in uncharted territory ... our entire democracy is at risk. I believe that if Donald Trump should defy the courts, the public will rise up. Democrats will fight it in every single way ... autocrats only succeed if the public lets them."

We’re approaching this crisis from vastly different and fundamentally inconsistent value systems.
One value system is “how can you do these things that will destroy government, destroy universities as we know them, destroy American leadership, destroy modern American society?”

I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, once the polling is in our favor.
You completely overlooked the linchpin to his marvelous strategy, RG…

… he’s waiting for Trump’s poll numbers to drop below 40 before the Democrats pounce and, boy, will he be in trouble then!

Schumer’s argument that we’re not in a constitutional crisis until Trump disobeys a Supreme Court ruling is also a colossal abdication of Congressional authority and responsibility.

The admin has unconstitutionally usurped Congress’ spending authority. No court ruling is necessary.

Exclusive: Trump acting under expectation SCOTUS will do him a solid and overturn "Humphrey's"

"I'd like them to do a 'Roe' on this one, too."

The Supreme Court's recent flexible views on precedent leave prognosticators flummoxed.

(This is satire.)
Just so we’re all clear, the Supreme Court *expressly ruled* that the president cannot fire FTC commissioners without cause in 1935’s Humphrey’s Executor. Trump’s action here is brazenly illegal under any interpretation of the law as it stands. www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...
Exclusive: Trump fires both Democratic commissioners at FTC, sources say
President Donald Trump fired the two Democratic commissioners at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission on Tuesday, two sources familiar with the situation said, in another major test of the independence of regulatory agencies.

Feels like the main thing you should know about the Democratic Party is that three years ago they controlled a trifecta after Trump tried to launch a coup, and they dismissed everyone who said they should impose accountability and said “no, we know how to beat him at the polls: kitchen-table ads”

It is journalistic malpractice not to include a link to the order. I have been screaming about this for literally years.

The decision is not as bad as the headline suggests which people could figure out if @apnews.com provided a link to the actual order. www.documentcloud.org/documents/25...
