I wrote about this in 2018. There is a correct amount of salt but this isn’t it. The city has policies but this is the TTC itself.

Looking back on my awesome Arctic fox encounter from last month. These little guys are high-energy, fast-moving foragers. This one was sniffing for snacks among the frozen kelp on the shore. They will follow polar bears onto the ice to eat leftovers from their kills. #mammals 🌿

Wildlife tracking! I'm reposting things I made this past year. If you look closely at the deer tracks you'll see I added the hint that they're double registering (hind foot is stepping into the same spot as front foot).

A slender and somewhat tall mushroom grows out of dark damp soil. Its stipe and cap are the same golden yellow color. The stipe appears slightly transparent. The cap is circular, flared out, and a bit flat, but isn't very large. Reflections of light can be seen on the cap due to its viscous nature.

POND RULES: No swimming, jumping or gallivanting. Do not disturb the pond witch. No fishing with dynamite. Sacrifices to water gods on alternate Wednesdays only - NO EXCEPTIONS! Taunt the crows at your own risk. If a hand comes out of the water to beckon you, turn and walk away. Do not feed the weretrout. Is the water burning with cold unholy fire? Report it to the ranger! They’re not ducks. Run. Have fun!
