European. Walks, books, music and travel. Ayrshire based Annan Athletic FC season ticket holder, and observing Lincoln City FC from afar.
Shocked and beyond saddened to read about Mani. The man who inspired me to pick up a bass. RIP

He’s the antithesis of a decent Englishman.
He’s sly, he’s divisive, he has, at best, a tenuous relationship with the truth.
His avarice for wealth and power knows no bounds.
Many of his acquaintances have friends who wish this country ill.
Yet, the ignorant fawn over him.

This Andrew Mountbatten Windsor situation is mental. They’re going to do everything but arrest the creepy bastard.

This is what I hate most about Brexit: Of course democratic choice should be respected.

But you need to understand what you voted for AND own the consequences.

Those who didn't understand have had a whole decade now to learn but it's just been an exercise in denial.

Started work at silly o’clock to get logged off for 3pm, and then away to Madrid for a long weekend.

Russell Martin finally sacked. I think Rangers should appoint Chris Sutton as his replacement; he’s got previous experience of a relegation battle.

Charlie Kirk called me a ‘lunatic’ and a ‘prostitute’ and demanded I be deported.

Nothing, *nothing*, justifies killing him, or robbing his kids of their dad.

We don’t know the identity or motive of the shooter but murder can *never* be the response to political disagreements.

Jules, this is Brian. Listen, I'm on an airplane that's been hijacked. If things don't go well, and it's not looking good, I just want you to know I absolutely love you. I want you to do good, go have good times. Same to my parents and everybody, and I just totally love you, and I'll see you when ..

Two nights in London is probably more than enough these days.

Recovered from the weekend’s trip to Belfast; amazing gig at Boucher Rd Playing Fields, and great to meet a few of the Fontaines lads round the corner from our hotel. Laundry & housework now tackled (twice as exciting than that Old Firm game) before heading out on the road again next week to London.

That’s 90 minutes which I won’t get back. They should make it a special type of draw that neither arse cheek gets a point.

Belfast tomorrow for the night (Fontaines DC/Kneecap gig) and then London next week until Thursday for work. It’s a good job I don’t like vegging at home.

Cracking draw for the Imps in the EFL Cup. Been very lucky with drawing plum ties in the last decade or so. Probably no chance of making it down/getting a ticket, so hopefully it’s televised. #imps

So, was in the Leaping Salmon in Berwick last night - £4.10 a pint. Two lassies, Tyler and Patricia, plonked themselves down next to me. Out celebrating Tyler’s 27th birthday. Wondered if I wanted to join them and get a gram of coke. I declined, but wished Tyler the happiest of birthdays. (1/2)
