Recovered from the weekend’s trip to Belfast; amazing gig at Boucher Rd Playing Fields, and great to meet a few of the Fontaines lads round the corner from our hotel. Laundry & housework now tackled (twice as exciting than that Old Firm game) before heading out on the road again next week to London.

Using Berwick upon Tweed as a base for Edinburgh City away; half way point for our group, and cheaper/easier than staying in Edinburgh itself when the festival is on. Just landed, quick pint before check in to hotel. Caught the border sign on the ECML too.

In the kitchen cooking spaghetti bolognese. Watching Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey whilst cooking. Just poured a very small glass of red wine. This good mood will inevitably end in Paisley tomorrow when Annan take a good scudding off St Mirren.

Supergrass were superb at the Barras last night. “I Should Coco” performed in full, before launching into songs from “In It For The Money”, “Life On Other Planets” and the self titled album. Roll on the Newcastle gig next week!
