i'm actually excited to quit streaming altogether and become self reliant. the more i think about the more i realize how horrible subscriptions are. they get you in with a promise, make it a great deal and keep it good just long enough to keep you reliant on it. then you think it's your only option

i get why this is common consensus but ppl being like "the steam controller is kinda ugly but the functionality is great!" makes me shake my head. i think it looks beautiful. shes so unique and tall. the thumbsticks look shiny gorgeous. the slight rotation on the trackpads is so playful.

the fact vinyl and cassettes are selling well again just further proves my point that sound quality itself isn’t the be all end all of music but often times the experience of enjoying said music takes over because let’s be honest listening to vinyl or a cassette is so much more fun than streaming
