Yesterday my partner and I counted all the ads along Chicago's Brown Line for "Friend," a company selling an AI chatbot pendant, and tallied how many of those ads were defaced.
Still working on a longer piece on this, but here's the quick and dirty: we counted 104 "Friend" ads total, 42 defaced.

In a fit of "I don't have to live with this shit" energy, I made the effort to replace my Razer mouse's shitty scroll wheel encoder 😤
I think learning to solder w/ mechanical keyboards really gave me a good baseline for this kind of thing :3

Today was the most stressful work day I've had in a while, and with a late post-work workout and a bunch of chores waiting at home, not exactly a great recovery...
