Chocolate hummus!

It's really not that much sugar or chocolate, but the little chocolate taste with the hummus volume + consistency makes me feel like I'm having a decadent dip :3 chickpeas are crazy

I hosted my first #coffee cupping! :3 Went kind of insane and did 8 coffees for my friends.

6 from my Onyx coffee advent box, 1 crazy decaf, and 1 crazy anaerobic just to throw folks off

Super fun! I got way into the setup, as you can see. I even made a flier :3
A coffee cupping. On top of a custom tea towel there are 8 sets of: shallow glass bowl full of liquid coffee, shallow wooden bowl with whole coffee beans. There are a few soup/cupping spoons scattered around. There is a large bottle of carbonated water in the center, by some red solo cups. This is all atop a wooden kitchen table. There are some hands holding papers + pencils in the periphery. Pre-cupping setup. The Onyx coffee advent box is in the back. There are a bag and box of coffee in front of it, next to an amongus coffee mug (amug-us). Next to that is a spread out mini-deck of cards with coffee info written on them. To the right side are 8 shallow glass cups next to 8 spoons, a small red notebook, and pen. Custom "flier" inviting people to my cupping event. Text reads: You're invited to...Regal's Coffee Cupping! ~Sun. 1/4 @ 10AM!~ Hosted at Regal's Apartment :3 - 6 to 8 coffees! - blind tasting & rating! - No need to bring anything (you can bring a pencil if you want tho!) - specialty coffee overview included Spider Charts wow! One of my New Years resolutions is to cook a lot more. I've been learning to enjoy it! But also I got my 2025 budget report and 12% of my income going towards restaurants is *insane*

So I'm starting off with "no eating-out January" (title WIP lmao)

Finally visited Cincinnati's American Sign Museum and it was at least 100x cooler than I thought it'd be. And I had high expectations!

Went to a cupping at my favorite local #coffee roaster and it was awesome 😎

Couldn't take pics, but we had 7 coffees to identify by taste + smell alone, and I got 5/7 correct! (I mixed up the Guatemala and Brazil "cups of excellence")

Really fun. Cool to prove that I know my stuff! :3

Being a casual member of the mechanical keyboard modding community just for the last 6 or 7 years has been such a ride, man. Going down my old Notion list of vendors more than half of these are either defunct or scam sites now

I'm doing Onyx's "Advent of Coffee" this year and it's genuinely been so fun. #Coffee AND snake motifs?! It really is Christmas 🎄🐍

Like maybe but like I needed to replace my mouse wheel encoder and where else was I gonna go for a teardown of the thing
