The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. It’s astoundingly anti-Christ.

If the cost of freedom is a few dead commuters then that's what we pay. The dead of U.S. Route 5 can be proudly honored in the same breath as those of the Belleau Wood, Iwo Jima and Khe Sanh.

The misrule of the United States is at this point almost magical.

genuinely crazy to me how unitary executive advocates read the vesting clause as granting a huge scope of essentially royal "inherent" powers. one would think that if the framers intended to give the president royal authority, they would have just said so.

Whether it’s Republican politicians joking about the murder of Melissa Hortman or Democratic politicians expressing their condolences after the murder of Charlie Kirk, both parties have a extreme rhetoric problem.

If you say 'heteronormative' or 'unhoused person' or 'food insecurity' you're basically talking gibberish and nobody can understand you but if you say you can see inflammation in children at the airport and that vaccines lower IQ or that germs are a myth you get to fire all the scientists.

"Oregano is bold—woodsy, warm, a little bitter. Like walking through a sparse forest in early autumn, the air sharp with smoke from a campfire, leaves underfoot brittle enough to crack. A little witchy, a little grounding, more powerful than it pretends to be."
Oregano deserves the spotlight
And earns it — in the easy, creamy pantry pasta sauce
