For my research at McMaster University, I’m looking for poly/nonmonog people for interviews about their experiences with institutions and the government.

If you live in BC or Ontario and want to share your experiences, I’d love to chat. Links to learn more or to participate are below:

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

In 2022, when Kirk was frustrated, for instance, by the presence of Lia Thomas on the University of Pennsylvania women’s swim team, Kirk did not call for “spirited discourse.” Instead, while discussing a recent championship tournament, he said he would have liked to have seen a group of fathers descend from the stands, forming “a line in front of [Lia] Thomas and saying, ‘Hey, tough guy, you want to get in the pool? ’Cause you’re gonna have to come through us.”

In 2015, the Canadian Supreme Court declared that the right to strike is a fundamental charter protected right of all Canadians, going against that creates a broader concern. “If governments keep showing such flagrant disregard for workers charter protected rights we shouldn’t be surprised if workers start showing more disregard for government back-to-work orders as we’ve seen with CUPE this time around,” said Eidlin.

Furthermore, you need to get it through your head that there is nothing inherently wrong with trans women winning sometimes. "Fair" is not a system in which trans women are only ever allowed to lose. We can and should be the best sometimes, and that's perfectly fine.
