🏠 Housing is not a privilege – it’s a right.

Too many are being priced out or left without security.

As Deputy Leader, I’ll push for affordable, zero-carbon homes, fair rents, and investment in communities – because dignity starts with a front door. 💚

On Thursday I was delighted to join the Newcastle Green team 🌱

It was fantastic to meet everyone, knock on doors, and help back the campaign for a third Green councillor. Local teams are the driving force of our movement – and it’s always inspiring to support them.

I've been out in Newcastle today for the South Jesmond By-election! It's looking very good for the Greens and I've had some great conversations on the door with @nickhartleygreen.bsky.social

If you have time tomorrow, come to Newcastle and help us get another fantastic Green councillor elected!

On my way to Newcastle to see the @newcastlegreens.bsky.social team fighting the Jesmond By-election.

Shout out to @crosscountryuk.bsky.social for, yet again, running an overbooked train. At least it's quite in the bike racks.

This weekend in Bristol, I joined others to send a clear message: 💚 Refugees are welcome here. Always.

People fleeing war, persecution, or disaster deserve safety, compassion & dignity – not hostility.

We are stronger when we stand together against hate.

Disabled Londoners are facing horrendous housing situations due to lack of accessible homes.

As the chair of the London Assembly Housing Committee, I led an investigation into accessible housing & have made urgent recommendations to the Mayor of London.

I joined the counter-protest in Bristol this weekend to stand against hate and say clearly: refugees are welcome here.

Those fleeing war, persecution, or disaster deserve compassion and dignity – not hostility.

This was once a busy community centre – now it’s shut, another victim of high rents, landlord profiteering & energy costs.

As Deputy Leader, I’ll fight for fair rents, affordable energy & funding to protect these spaces. Our towns need their heartbeat back. 💚

Today, I and other @bristolgreenparty.bsky.social members and councillors stood shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of others to protect a hotel housing asylum seekers, calling out the poisonous bigotry corrupting our society.
We've done it before. We'll do it again. Solidarity ✊

This weekend Wrington councillor @cllr-thomas-daw.bsky.social joined Greens in Bristol to protect asylum seekers in a hotel from far right protesters.

The Green Party will always stand with marginalised people, and against the forces of fascism.

Community spaces keep our towns alive – but rising rents, landlord profiteering & energy costs are closing their doors.

When they go, we lose more than buildings – we lose connection & hope.

As Deputy Leader, I’ll fight to protect & fund these spaces so our high streets thrive again.

When community spaces close, the whole town feels it.

High rents, landlord profiteering & soaring energy costs are destroying our high streets.

We need fair rents, affordable energy & support for local spaces. That’s what I’ll fight for as Deputy Leader. Thriving towns need thriving high streets.

Housing is about dignity. Safety. Hope.
Let’s fight to make it a Green Party priority.

I’ve shared before about Thomas – a homeless veteran I’ve met many times in Weston-super-Mare.

Thousands across the UK are homeless or in insecure housing. We need rent controls, affordable homes, and real political will.

As Deputy Leader, I’ll fight to make housing a Green Party priority. 💚

I’ve met Thomas—a veteran and a gentleman—many times through my work in Weston-super-Mare.

He’s also homeless.

Housing shouldn’t be a reward for service. It’s a human right.
As Deputy Leader, I’ll fight to make quality housing a Green Party priority.
Dignity starts with a front door. 💚
