This is from Worcestershire County Council's audit report. Yet they expect us to believe their savings numbers in their One Worcestershire unitary. They have zero credibility. It is time for new thinking and two unitaries to transform Worcestershire.

Labour are in hock to billionaires and big business.
"I'm really, really sorry you noticed," Nandy may have said. "This looked like a bribe, but it really wasn't one, even though it looked exactly like a bribe, and smelled like a bribe, it definitely wasn't a bribe. I'm so sorry I got caught, it won't happen again..." 😉

Just remember that Worcester Labour wants to spend £250m on not solving congestion in St John. We need investment in buses and active travel, not more roads. Free and faster buses would be a much better way of spending our money and help people with the cost of living.
We were told the interchange would cost €100 million and solve the congestion and tailbacks.
It cost €225 million, and it didn't.
The people who were 100% wrong about this – and blew 9 figures of public money on it – have a new suggestion.
More lanes.

Reform's leader of Worcestershire County Council thinks a day of democracy is too much like hard work. Perhaps she could spend some of the almost £55,000 a year we pay her on someone to look after her dogs. These meetings are in the calendar. If you don't want to do the job, resign.

Thank you for showing me round @Worcester Snoezelen - what a brilliant space it is, that we are lucky to have in Worcester. The expansion plans are very ambitious. Accessible play and support is so important - both in provision for all and dedicated provision.

The burning question I wanted to ask at PMQs today: why is the govt considering slashing funding to home insulation programmes as a short-term, short-sighted way to lower energy bills? Why not do the smart thing instead, and tax billionaires fairly?

Out and out racism is alive and well in this country. And its perpetrators are emboldened every day that politicians and journalists describe immigrants as an invasion, a swarm, or a flood.

I was invited to speak at the EuroAsia Curry Awards on Monday night, it should have been an exciting opportunity. But on my way there, outside Earl’s Court station, I was subjected to an Islamophobic hate crime. I have now reported it to the police
