Seated for One Battle After Another. I wish I wasn't in a completely empty theatre but I'm doing my part to keep the theatres open.

I see we have a new Conjuring film coming out which means I'm depending on YOU, dear freelancer, to pitch the posts about how the Warrens were frauds, Ed Warren was an abuser, and hack comedian Matt Rife now owns Annabelle (a normal doll).

My sister's boyfriend showed me this way too young and I finally understood my dad. The music. The cars. The attitude. Rewatching it as I got older, I came to appreciate Linklater more and more and now he's my favorite writer/director.

I had to leave my showing of Final Destination because of how insane it was in the room. Tweens snuck in. A couple behind me were talking as if we were all in their living room. Super tall guy in front of me made it harder to see by keeping his hands on his head.

Danny & Michael Philippou give us details on their next movie: a documentary about Deathmatch Wrestling

Brother, you gave them your likeness. Kids 100 years from now will see new stories with Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.
Mark Hamill says he won’t be returning as Luke Skywalker again.

“I really think they should focus on the future and all the new characters”

Andor is the pinnacle of media. If you hate sci-fi. If you don't care about Star Wars. Andor is still for you if you like great television. It's just one of the best series ever made.

Holy crap the new Pope is bringing the fire:
“For those who have ears to hear, let them hear:
LG TVs call it TrueMotion
Roku/TCL calls it Action Smoothing
Samsung calls it Auto Motion Plus
Sony calls it MotionFlow
Panasonic calls it Intelligent Frame Creation…”

We seriously don't deserve Andor. Next week is going to ruin me. I can't believe it's just going to be over. Tony Gilroy please make more Star Wars.

The penultimate arc of “Andor” echoes colonial history—from the British Raj to modern Gaza—resulting in nail-biting, heart-wrenching genre television. Star Wars has never been more invigorating. It feels, in a way, reborn. joysauce.com/andor-uses-r...

As a lifelong Napoleon Dynamite defender, it's cool to see Jared Hess win. Please let this be a "one for them, one for me" moment. A new quirked up comedy is needed for these trying times.
