Regarding the legal definition of a woman: remember when the concerned locals (who weren't local) objected to immigrants nearby, they kept using the phrase "military-age men". This is convenient, as in most countries a chap can join the military before voting age (the usual indicator of adulthood).

Insane to read this in The Times in October 2024. 14 years after the Bloody Sunday inquiry. Qualifying it with a single reference to the Savile Report - which debunks and refutes every single word of this account - as being "far more critical" does not cut it. This is outrageous.
