So not only is the Trump admin trying to deport and scare away undocumented immigrant workers that the agricultural industry relies on, but they also slashed the income of those here legally on a guest worker program for which they set the pay rates. (from this morning's @ajc.com newsletter)

For the longest time, wings were the weird little bony piece in the KFC bucket. It's legitimately astonishing what a culinary quantum leap it was to separate them into drumettes and flats and sauce/season them properly.

I don't always have 4:00 choices, but this time I can watch Packers at Denver or Lions in LA. Sadly no option for the meme-Rivers game, but both of these should be pretty good.
I didn't expect it to be a great game but I didn't expect Jax to run away with it like this.
I guess my 1:00 game will be Jets at Jacksonville.

Every once in a while I walk past the country ham endcap in Kroger and wonder why I've never tried it. Then I read the preparation instructions, and when I get to the part about soaking it for 10 minutes before cooking, I think, "How much better can it be than regular ham, for that trouble?"
