On a basic level, Bambam is my precious doggie I straightforwardly love as his daddy. But there's a meta-level too. Because I know his loving mama of many years had to give him up, I consider it my sacred duty to care for him as I would have wanted someone to care for Butterbean if I died first.

It's in the 30s here this morning so I made Bambam wear a full sweater. It actually went pretty smooth. I just have to get it on him quick before he loses patience and starts to struggle. Once it's on, he's fine.
