Reform has hired loony-right ex-academic Matthew Goodwin as head of its new student organisation.

I take it the BBC and others will no longer be describing him as merely a "commentator" or (wrongly) an "academic"?...

Anyway: both the state and private developers need to build at far greater rates, the default aim should be 'a dual earner couple on average incomes can live in non-crowded conditions and raise a family', and the model family *for policymakers* should be three for obvious reasons.

Best case: The President of the United States knew about a pedophilia ring and did nothing to stop it.

Medium case: He also used his office to protect the perpetrators.

Worst case: Because he was one of the perpetrators.

A bipartisan effort to force the House to vote on a measure that would compel the Justice Department to release the Epstein files advanced to the next stage after it received a 218th signature on Wednesday.

Here's how the process will work.
What’s Behind the Coming House Vote on Releasing the Epstein Files
Proponents of fuller transparency used an arcane rule to prod their leaders to act. When it became clear they had succeeded, the speaker agreed to hold a vote.

Crisis in Reform run Kent County Council

The PM was asked about this at PMQs today.

He did not shy away from calling out Reform, reminding us Kent was supposed to be the Reform blueprint for how they'd run the country.

But all Reform have to offer is grievance, division and incompetence!

My takeaway from Epstein document dump was that Jeffrey Epstein in 2018/early 2019 was increasingly telling people he had dirt on Trump and Trump knew everything about child sex ring. To protect Trump's re-election campaign, Trump's DOJ charged Epstein in July 2019. Then Epstein committed "suicide."
