The Brits have such a way with words. You know. Those things with letter that help you define and say stuff about things.

Markets update:
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Yeah it shouldn't be on Bleeding Cool to keep this in the public eye, there should be constant media pressure about it. It's not a hard story for them to get behind. bleedingcool.com/comics/briti...

Most crucially, there will be very little, if any, justice for Ukrainians for what they have suffered. Russia gets to act with impunity, Putin gets to play superpower again, and much like past Russian and Soviet atrocities, there is no accountability. (9/n)

My confident prediction is by about 2045 the Conservatives are going to campaign vigorously to rejoin the EU and they and the press on the right will constantly criticise the Labour govt of the 2020s/30s for ‘trying to make Brexit work’

Without a hint of self-criticism for enacting it, of course.
only one in five LEAVE voters think that Brexit has been more of a success than a failure, that is nuts

physics of climate impacts 101:
- Stuff gets hot (worse heatwaves)
- Hot air holds more water vapor (heavier rainfall)
- Hot air is thirstier air (higher drought risk)
- Warm water is hurricane food (stronger storms)
- Hot water expands and hot ice melts (sea level rise)

A climate-sceptic commentator has written this today in a UK newspaper without any apparent pause for reflection or self-doubt:

"I really don’t think we are causing net climate change. However, scientific opinion thinks we are."

And, in doing so, he sums up our era of anti-science misinformation.
