Woke up to these dummies at 1am near hotel in Greenville, SC. I'm laughing as they can't even do a donut. They are just driving in a circle spinning one tire.

This would be amazing. Let it be a reminder to anyone behaving as if a federal pardon is in their future that the state will stick it to you also.
Here come state charges for Santos.

After Trump pardoned Manafort, NY legislature passed, and Cuomo signed, a law closing what became known as the "Manafort loophole"

Basically reverses NY's double jeopardy rule AND carves out an exception for anyone who received clemency from the president.
The Good News: Scummy George Santos Isn’t Out of the Woods Just Yet
Trump’s commutation of his sentence was a disgrace. But under a new law, New York State can still pursue justice here.

We need a new Free Guy movie with @vancityreynolds.bsky.social starting out escaping the digital world by migrating to a Roomba vacuum. Progressing through upgrades via robot dog, autonomous car, factory robot and finally ending up trapped in a datacenter creating A.I. John Candy movies.

Because only one of them is getting through.
Why do images of the Rapture all look like sperm heading for a glowing egg cell tho? #homunculi

I think those with special needs board first, then platinum, gold, silver and continuing through zones based on their heaven account deposit history to Kenneth Copeland.
No one has answered my question about whether the rapture happens like Santa Claus in time zones, or does it happen all at once?

They are playing at the beautiful Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg, MS with KT Tunstall tomorrow, Sept 21st.

Plenty of tickets left. Go support these awesome performers. The wife and I are driving from Georgia to go see them.

Florida is going to turn into a bug-zapper for humanity.
SCOOP:

Inside private anti-vaxxer Facebook groups, members celebrated Florida banning vaccine mandates, quickly calling for other states to implement similar actions

“I shouldn’t have to inject my kids with poison because you’ve been brainwashed to live in fear,”

Anti-Vaxxers Rejoice at Florida’s Scheme to End Vaccine Mandates for Kids and Everyone Else
As experts warn about possible outbreaks of diseases like polio and measles in Florida, anti-vaxxers declare “freedom.”

Holt shit they want in with riot shields. Someone must have a gluten allergy.
The White House posted an insane video of the police arresting the sandwich guy in a safe and wealthy neighborhood.

Was watching #F1 practice this morning and they lost commentator audio for the first half. I have to say that it was nice just being able to hear the cars and nothing else.

They should make that an SAP feature for broadcasts. No commentator audio stream. Car audio only.

I'm driving back from South Carolina, look at the dash and it says 102. Like damn that's hot. A short while later it says 87 and awesome it's cooling off. 15 mins later it says 70 and I realized I need gas.

Price creep is getting out of hand.

I was on a work trip this week and a glass of tea at a restaurant was $3.99. They had domestic bottles of beer for $3.50.

Water it is.

On a positive note, Baileys Fish Camp in Blacksburg, SC includes tea, soda or water in the cost of the meal. Go there!!!!!

what's everyone's favorite style of potato salad?

I have 3, in order: Kartoffelsalat, Japanese Potato salad, and surprisingly for me, a person who is 50/50 on eggs on a given day: Potato and Egg salad

Saw One Vision of Queen with Marc Martel in Huntsville, AL last night. Amazing show in person. That guitarist, Tristan Avakian, is amazing as well. They are very much worth seeing in person.

Huntsville, AL is pretty neat also. Always liked visiting there. It makes you forget you are in Alabama.

New menus at #WaffleHouse. They got rid of the egg surcharge AND lowered some prices.

Wildly impressed.

I don't even go to lunch with gov clients when I'm on a job even AFTER they've signed a contract. I don't want anyone to try and think I'm trying to persuade future business.
The Constitution disagrees. The Emoluments Clause, part of Article I, Section 9, Clause 8, bans office holders from taking ANY gifts from foreign countries. There is no mention of quid pro quo. That is because the Founding Fathers knew that even the *appearance* of corruption promotes corruption.
