“AI is clearly sticking around so you have to get used to it” wrong. I don’t have to get used to shit. I am a practiced hater and I can keep this going for decades if I am required to

be brutal when editing down your work. you should only keep scenes that advance the plot, demonstrate character, or ones that don't do either of those that you really, really, really, really like

If you still wear a mask at all, even just when sick or at the hospital or on public transit, THANK YOU!
If you still try to isolate or protect others when you are sick, THANK YOU.
If you still test for COVID when you have any symptoms, THANK YOU.

Nothing illustrates the arseholery of the IOC and the British Press more than the use of the image of a not-Trans woman to illustrate a story about trans women being banned (because there are no current trans women competing at this level)

Eigentlich wäre der Welt ja schon damit geholfen, wenn Männer aufhören würden, sich wie trotzige Kleinkinder zu benehmen.

Mehr isses ja eigentlich nicht 🤷‍♀️

don't over-explain things. don't under-explain things. explain things the exact right amount, which varies significantly from reader to reader

A woman invented the Renaissance Fair, a woman invented what we today call Monopoly (someone stole her ideas and design), women invented the otome game which goes hand in hand with dating sims, like the list continues and goes on
Women started fandom. Women started fanfic. Women started star Trek cons. Women invented beer, and the novel, while we're at it. Stop trying to erase women from spaces, you stupid, lazy, misogynistic fucks.

ChatGPT’s new Atlas browser doesn’t just see what you read — it remembers it.

@eff.org’s Lena Cohen showed me it even logged “memories” of her looking for *abortion care* and her doctor’s name. Out-surveils even Chrome.

My @washingtonpost.com column: wapo.st/49bOcVC
Column | ChatGPT just came out with its own web browser. Use it with caution.
OpenAI’s Atlas promises AI-powered convenience. The price? Letting ChatGPT track and store “memories” of what you do online.
