Mo'ne Davis spent years telling people that she was done playing baseball. She did not want to be forever defined by what she did as a 13-year-old in Little League, a decade ago, and she did not feel like there was space for her to do much else. And then she felt differently. On Davis and the WPBL:
Mo’ne Davis Is Finally Ready to Play Baseball Again
More than a decade after becoming a Little League sensation at age 13, Mo’ne Davis is set to make more history as the face of the Women’s Pro Baseball League.

I choose to recognize only one school here #GoBlue
Looks like USC and Michigan bullied the B1G into suspending their private equity plan, so credit to them, I guess.

In truth, I think there's a fine line between when it made sense and when people kinda jumped the shark. If post-Smackdown Cena annoyed you in the first year or so that's fine. I get that.
Folks spent years actively hating this man bro.

I’ll never let folks live that down.

One issue with analyzing the NFL this year is that the great teams keep playing each other, while the derpy teams also play each other.

It's like there's a "loser's bracket" full of teams with gaudy records, while the Eagles-Lions-Rams-Chiefs keep beating each other up to nerf their records/stats.
Do you think there is a great team this year? What I watched yesterday made me think that there are 6-8 teams who could get hot or luck into a Superbowl this year.

It's nice when there's a move a team objectively has to make in the offseason or risk being scorned, and then they make the move to avoid that scorn

They're 5-5 and after winning 11 one-possession games in a row, all five of their losses this year are - you guessed it - one-possession losses.

Regression is REAL
so are the Chiefs just bad now or is this like a 2025 Dodgers midseason mirage

Of course this record used to belong to Drew Bledsoe. Those mid-90s Patriots... so much passing!

i am convinced that if jacoby brissett came into the NFL 20-30 years ago he has an extremely similar career to, like, kerry collins
Jacoby Brissett setting the record for most completions in an NFL game is gonna be a great pull at someone’s trivia night in 2030

North Texas is ranked in the AP Poll for the first time since 1959, snapping the longest active streak between poll appearances among FBS teams.

That now falls to New Mexico State, last ranked in 1960. Then Rice, last in 1961.
