Farage.
Grifter-in-chief. Racist. Russian asset. Trump groupie.
He gets an MP’s salary and spends his time doing anything but.
A professional piss-taker and national security (and sanity) threat, leading the polls to be the next PM.
Come on UK.
Get some sodding self-respect.

Asked about the Conservatives getting just 6% in the Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse by-election, Kemi Badenoch dismisses the result, telling the BBC that "Larkhall is not where the Conservatives have ever been competitive"

In the 2022 elections they came within 70 votes of first place there

If the UK rejoined the Single Market there would be £42bn a year to spend, jobs galore and it would kill Nigel Farage.

Lets do it.

These people are lunatics...
Laura Loomer—who recently met with Donald Trump in the Oval Office and influenced the firings of top national security officials—suggests that removing people from the United States without due process isn’t so extreme when compared to the alternative: simply shooting them to death on sight.

Your regular reminder that almost everything Trump is getting away with is not because of presidential strength, but because of congressional weakness and judicial deference.

The constitutional tools are already there to fix this, but those who can fix it are refusing to do so.

I would do anything for growth (but I won't do that).

Labour continues to put the party interest before the national interest.

I can understand the grip that Trump has on the media and his voters, but if the self-interest of US profits, bonuses, etc, isn't enough to make US business leaders speak out, his power is truly frightening.

Trump officials quietly move to reverse bans on toxic ‘forever chemicals’

Huge news here. Despite attempts to reverse the ban in darkness, we now see the Trump presidency for what it is.

Unchecked power is what they're after no matter how perverse their actions are. The only reason to get rid of checks and balances is because you're about to do some real evil shit.

If you wonder how countries slip into dictatorship, it’s like this.

Amidst another flurry of news, an official adds at the end that Trump has signed an Executive Order saying that “only the President or Attorney General can speak for the US…as to what the law is.”

What?!

Extraordinary story the Wall Street Journal.

X is threatening advertisers that if they don’t spend more, Elon Musk will use his influence in government to block company mergers.

That’s extortion.

Pin this, save it, we’ll need it.

“When a prison camp opens in your town…when a DREAMer is disappeared from your classroom…when the President destroys what’s left of the Constitution…They will all say they didn’t know this was coming. And I want the American people to know that they did.”

Trump tells more lies about Ukraine:

"We had a deal based on rare earth and things, but they broke that deal. They broke it two days ago, we had a deal."

Wrong. Trump proposed that Ukraine hand over $500 billion worth of natural resources, without any US security guarantees. Zelensky rejected it.

There's a rumour that Nigel Farage is keeping his head down because he's off to a Trump cheerleading conference over the weekend.

I’m afraid I’m being proved right- Farage is far more interested in Trump's success than British security. He is a bootlicker and a plastic patriot.

4. Remember: THEY DON'T CARE. They don't give a damn about other people's rights or lives. It's just about power and control.
European unity (UK included) is essential. Ukraine is just the beginning. If we don't hold the line there, Russian/US aggression will only spread.

I love how Trump, Vance and Musk style themselves defenders of free speech, while simultaneously banning government agencies from mentioning climate change or diversity (inc biodiversity!), equity and inclusion, or even possessing maps which show the Gulf of Mexico.

I know everything feels grim right now but let's be realistic. These people are idiots. They're going to tank their economy. They're going to fuck-up every deal they sign. They're going to leave America looking shattered and deranged. And all those who supported them will look as idiotic as they are
