On 16 December 1969, the Apollo 13 spacecraft spent 5 hours rolling slowly from the VAB to launchpad 39A. There was snow on the ground, in Florida. The spacecraft launched on its fatefull mission 4 months later.

Attitudes have changed.
A colleague was buying us coffee and asked if it was OK if we took it out and sat on a bench outside to drink it. I said 'Ah the benefits of tax avoidance' and they genuinely took offence and started remonstrating with me that I was accusing them of tax fraud.

There is a big effort in ex-Twitter-Land to try to dismiss Andrew Norfolk of The Times and also dismiss Private Eye, two of the media outlets which did most to bring the lack of exposure of the grooming gangs issue into the public domain. This is because the outcome did not align to the EDL agenda.
