I was raised in the movie theater… Seriously it was the babysitter my mom used… seeing each of the original Star Wars trilogy in the theater was amazing… Especially return of the Jedi because my mom took us in the middle of the week one town over so we could see it the week it came out

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Just had someone sent a text to tell me there’s an email. I have to look at in my work email… It is 712 on a Sunday night… I actually saw the email earlier… It’s about gifts… If you need my input on a client gift on a Sunday…You are barking up the wrong tree… It can wait till Monday at 8 AM…

Movie theaters are not gonna survive if they can’t solve the problem of cells being used during movies… leaned over and started reading the woman’s text next to me as she read her screen during the movie til she put the phone away… I couldn’t do that to the others… they were too far away

Colds are weird… could not smell or taste anything so popped an entire can of jalapeños into my turkey chili… Suddenly all my senses are open… Not related to all the jalapeños in the turkey chili

sliders with leftover turkey… halve Hawaiian rolls… Top with cranberry sauce…dressing turkey and Swiss cheese…place top on… cover with melted butter… Put an oven at 350 for 30 minutes… toyed with adding everything bagel seasoning to the butter… as it was excellent! turkey chili next!

I got distracted, prepping the turkey… Because the dog got the bag that formerly contained the turkey… So I think I missed patting the turkey dry… And rubbing it with butter before adding salt and pepper… Oh well… It’s in the oven one way or the other

Pies were obtained… Turkey breast was not fully defrosted… Which kind of threw me for a loop… Because it really should’ve been… But after a review of the Internet… The consensus seemed to be go for it… So I did! And per the meat thermometer… turkey breast is fully cooked and ready to carve

Cannot dry brine the turkey- turns out it is “pre brined” so the next step will be preparation of the viral cranberry crockpot turkey breast and picking up the pies from a local bakery
