Has anyone's tv viewing changed? Any show/movie that revolves around a US president or the FBI or just about anything US related just feels different now. I just don't enjoy them at all anymore.

I sometimes wonder if there are members of ICE who feel ashamed?

I wonder if there are members of ICE who will feel shame later?

I wonder if there are families of ICE members who will feel generational shame for the actions of their parents, uncles, aunts or grandparents?

Anybody, from anywhere in the world, flying to the US should know that there are serious risks.

Federal Budget's Electrification Plan is a Winner

My first quick read Monday was negative. Further reading and some interviews convinced me I was wrong.

The Climate Competitiveness Strategy is really good.

Another great idea for #yyc, @jeromyyyc.bsky.social and @natefor8.bsky.social. At least give it a trial on city owned lots.
Meanwhile, in South Korea: "Starting at the end of November, public parking lots with more than 80 spaces will be required to install solar power generation facilities. This obligation applies not only to newly constructed parking lots but also to existing ones."

Canadians should get behind @gandersocial.bsky.social and grab yourself a little piece, if you are able. I'm very excited for this!

I'm a big fan of the Prime Minister's efforts to expand our trade around the world.
Our government is working relentlessly to diversify Canada’s trade partnerships around the world.

I’m in Southeast Asia to unlock new markets, secure new customers for Canadian businesses, and generate new investments for our workers and industries.

These compact bike shelters make safe parking easy.

Dutch company Fietshangar designs these “hangars” to give bike parking an extra layer of security. From London to Tuscany to Iceland, they’re helping cities across Europe make cycling more practical and secure.

You may not know the name Albertine Lapensée, but she was the first superstar of women's hockey in Canada.
In her late-teens, she dominated the sport before abruptly quitting and disappearing from history when she was 20.
This is her story.

Apple was never a better, more noble company. They just pretended to be.

Begging the #yyc city council and urban planners to have some vision and the courage to do something amazing.
Osaka’s showpiece streetscape Midosuji Boulevard has undergone major changes. In the build-up to hosting the 2025 World Expo, the city began experimenting with reallocating parts of the road space: widening sidewalks, limiting car traffic, and creating continuous protected infrastructure for bikes.🧵
