🐘Democratic governors in WV, WY, and OK.

🐘Democrats representing SD and IN in the U.S. Senate.

🐘Dem control of the AK and MS statehouses.

As someone who unseated a 26-year, 13-term Republican legislator who voted against Medicaid expansion, I can say the hubris of telling your constituents "we're all going to die" when they're concerned about you denying them health insurance and then doubling down by mocking them may just backfire.🧵

SELLING AMERICA

The 2011 S&P downgrade of the US government’s credit rating was a fart in the wind for markets.

Now, we’re in the midst of the biggest downgrade of US stocks relative to their global peers on record, laid bare on the screens.

If a D official said this, R's would have instantly clipped, shared, commented on, and distributed this soundbite (and their rage) through countless content creators and various platforms. So much that it would wash into mainstream outlets, too.

We're not there yet.
Reporter: How is lowering the price of eggs going?

Trump official: The price of eggs is way down

Reporter: That’s not reflected at the grocery store

Trump official: It's $2.50 for the whole country

One ancestral line had become a high-powered attorney in the city. The other ancestral line stuck to its roots as the town carpenter.

But when their hometown’s Christmas market was about to go bankrupt, they realized they had more in common than met the eye…

strange to watch conservatives make voting harder right as they become the party of low propensity voters
A big conservative win, in what we at bolts said was one of the 8 big voting rights cases to be decided in 2025. More on that here: boltsmag.org/voting-right...
By a 10-5 vote, the en banc 5th Circuit will NOT rehear a decision invalidating state laws that consider ballots valid if they were *mailed* by Election Day but arrive shortly thereafter. (28 states + DC have such laws.) The dissenters are deeply displeased. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...
