Occasionally, I suffer from depression and anxiety. The past few weeks have been particularly tough, and a friend recommended CBD oil. I've tried it, and it has really worked well for the anxiety. If you suffer from anxiety, I really recommend trying it.

I hope it helps you too.

It shows how far Labour have fallen when I find myself agreeing far more with John Major than I do with Starmer.

Right, you buy a polycotton mix t-shirt, sheet, whatever, use it for ten years until it's worn out, and then you demand the original shop you purchased from disposes of it? Breathtaking hypocrisy.

I'm a "Rejoiner" rather than a "Remainer" (that horse has sadly bolted), and rejoining the EU tomorrow would still feel too late. But you have to take hope (however slim) where you can. A great post by Ian.
This next month could end up defining our place in the world. There's everything to play for. But pro-Europeans have to exert pressure in an achievable way, rather than stomping off the pitch iandunt.substack.com/p/the-battle...

Paywall, but an excellent article on why the UK's sclerotic politics is still in thrall to outdated ideas and moribund Tabloid opinion.

Starmer needs to dump the "Reform-lite" crap and deal with the 2025 electorate, not a group of long-dead bigots.
Britain’s parties cater to a voter who is, often literally, dead

Starmer wrote in the Express that he is against restoring Freedom of Movement.

Please retweet if you want our Freedom of Movement restored.

We were robbed of our right to live, work, study, and love in 30 countries by the worst abuses of democracy in modern British history.

I stopped playing PC games when the girls were born (never had time), but really looking forward to #Atomfall. Looks wonderfully and quirkily British.

Those three flat-cap-wearing skeletons in the wheeled bathtub just have to be a nod to Last of the Summer Wine!

Monkeys are cool 😎.

Tanks are cool 😎.

But nothing could possibly be cooler than monkeys in tanks!

How could these two centres be placed so close, yet not combined joyfully into an entertaining simian/lethal military vehicle mash up?

A real opportunity missed.

I just watched the excellent 1971 "The year.." on Apple. I'm not sure I agree with the "year music changed everything" tag, but I was only 6 then, so no expert. But it reminded me of the BBC Rock and Roll years, a programme that taught me more history than lessons ever did in school.

Do watch.
