If games are art, why do gamers allow phrases like "third person shooter roguelite" to exist? pathetic

An even more egregious example in the article: Ubisoft accepted 6 million euros from the German government in some sort of arts fund, only to machine translate the German language option.

I've played like 1 metroid game, like 1 castlevania game, like 1 zelda game. And I am happier for it. The metroid people are so upset now, and for what? Desire truly is the root of suffering.

Sorcerer: Forgot this one, I’ll do it now. Genius, fantastic and deeply engrossing. Managed to be the right kind of stress and fear.Has a quartet of guys who suck ever been such dudes who rock? I posit no. Also better than Star Wars, though on a different axis than Hidden Fortress.

That’s the recent movies, what have others been enjoying?

The Hidden Fortress: Like a play in the staging and pacing, it’s great & fits together in an oddly satisfying way. Better than Star Wars if you’re not a kid. Wife compared the peasants to Vladimir and Estragon, spot on lol

MAD GOD: Fitting, but a little lacklustre. Has some gorgeous shots, driving force just doesn’t quite work. If you’re brainstorming depictions of hell, you could certainly do worse than watch this movie

stop releasing precons and pretend the format doesn’t exist, except keep it on MTGO. Break the reserve list.
I realize that a common response would be “I wouldn’t”
But
It’s 2016 you run wizards. You realize and know that commander will be the main way people play magic moving forward and there no internal pushback against this.
How would you change your design process/product releases/game philosophy.

November 11th, 1918. I've been following that account since it was new, and it's been such an interesting look at WWI.

It is 11 AM on November 11, 1918, and the guns are finally ordered to cease firing all along the Western Front. Crowds in Paris and London can barely believe it, but it is true: The Great War is, practically if not technically, over.

We played Machinarium on the steam deck because my wife had played it years ago & it's a fun, cute game that works really well to play with someone else.

Was genuinely awestruck by THE SWIMMER this year as a wild, surreal, riveting, film with probably Burt Lancaster's best performance
