You did this Barack! You were president during Ferguson! At the very least you should at least remember that!
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

early episode of @relentlesspicnic.com has them bring up a guy who correctly predicted an earthquake from a small tell from unusual animal activity, and when asked about it… he was already on to something else & didn’t care
It’s so interesting that the comet pizza-Q-Anon folks have disappeared just as their deeply held concerns about a widespread elite child trafficking conspiracy has been proven correct

Reading this, I get the feeling that the proper way to read Obituaries is to only read one essay a day. Also, I was reading Euthyphro last night and I think more works should inspire reviewers to reference it.
In early 1977, William Saroyan took the “Necrology” list in the January 5, 1977 issue of Variety and proceeded to write 135 essays, each about 2-3 pages long, running through the list from Alessandro (Victor) to Zukor (Adolph). Obituaries is the result.

On one hand, we've watched Rashomon and Marty Supreme this year (good movies) and on the other, we've watched two of the movies from the new star wars trilogy (bad movies) so we're basically split even on whether movies have been good or bad this year

Saw Marty Supreme without knowing anything beforehand, it's good. It's long, but doesn't drag. You get to see a lot of craggy and expressive faces, a few loving shots of bodies in motion and at rest. Felt like I was being asked what I wanted from my life. do recommend.

I know this isn't the point of the article, but lol at this paragraph. Everyone under 50, and most people over 50, has played video games, why are we still talking about them like it's 1985?

Did Scott Adams hypnotize himself so well that he was terrified of how powerful his mind was, and vowed never to use his full psychic abilities? yes

Well I stand by it regardless.

I never get to talk about Scott Adams, or Sinfest, in polite company so that last tweet feels cathartic in a new way for me.

didn't Walz say something like "don't rise to the bait, they want you to get violent" like yesterday? Am I misremembering? Like, obviously Bovino is just going to lie but c'mon.
Bovino: "The situation has accelerated and I go back to Mayor Frey and Gov. Walz. They're not trying to tamp down violence or anything else. They're actually fomenting violence and ramping the violence up. They're supporting these people."

bought a house that was the primary residence of a small time landlord, and ever since I've been getting occasional texts shopping around houses and apartment buildings. You can get a 17 unit building for $1.1M apparently
