I’ve made the case that presidents don’t need congressional approval for certain kinds of Article II military actions. I don’t think Trump can make that case here, but Johnson arguing that the threat was so imminent that Congress literally had no time to vote is just silly.

yeah I'm not sure this is so much a petty feud between two men as it is the president of the United States sending troops to attack the people they're supposed to protect
