Went to Redwood City's 4th of July... drone show (in lieu of fireworks—though lots of unofficial fireworks were set off as well). They sure love their RWC motto (it's on overhead signs as you enter downtown).

One would think that Democrats would have some better targets in the midst of a coup/civil war/destruction of the Constitution and the rule of law/massive loss of rights than a Democratic candidate who just won an election.
This is not a coincidence. This is a concerted effort. This is a Dem establishment agreed-upon talking point. This is a very deliberate plan. “Use the Jews.”

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

Democratic mega-donors are debating plans to spend tens of millions of dollars on a range of influencer plans to "find the liberal Rogan."

We've got pitch decks, investor meetings, and internal docs.

This is indeed a moment of truth for Harvard — and for American higher education as well as science, medicine, technology, and the humanities.

If the richest university in the world submits to lawless extortion by the Cult of Trump, we are truly sunk.

We must be clear: Veritas is not for sale.
“Harvard now faces one of the most consequential choices in its history: Submit to extortion and make itself complicit in the most profound assault on academic freedom and constitutional governance of our time—or go to court. The stakes are high, but the choice should not be difficult.” (Fixed link)

Kudos to the law firm Arnold & Porter. It is the largest law firm that is not either itself target by Trump or representing a firm targeted by Trump to sign the amicus brief in support of Perkins Coie. Put another way, A&P has no direct financial interest in the outcome of the case and yet signed.

YAY JENNER! And Cooley!
Read Jenner & Block's lawsuit challenging Trump's unconstitutional assault on their firm.👇 Very glad to see Jenner fighting back. They're represented by Cooley, which is taking a risk here too.

When masked men in plain clothes approach you as you are walking down the street, take your belongings, surround and touch and cuff you, this is how this works now? They say "we're police" and you're supposed to go with them?

Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

They're *already* shutting down large parts of the government and, as an added bonus, inflicting permanent damage on other parts of it.

Shutting it all down would be a *better* route, honestly.

All you've done here is give a bipartisan stamp of approval to their agenda of closures and cuts.
There is very little about this CR that I like—but there is even less I like about a government shutdown. With Trump & Musk taking a chainsaw to the government’s workforce & illegally freezing funding, the last thing we need to do is plunge our country into further chaos by shutting down the govt.

My YES vote is *not* an endorsement of this deeply flawed CR.

My YES vote is 💯 about refusing to shut our government down.

I refuse to punish working families and plunge millions of Americans into chaos.

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever vote to shut our government down.
