Had a bit of a hard time liking the game initially, but now i'm really fucking enjoying my time with it.
Once the counter system and the whole spirit thing click, it's a whole lot of fun.
The level design is top notch and the flag thingy really incite exploration.
It gives me my Nioh fix :')

So basically Wo Long is Chinese Nioh down to the weird disjointed narration and an emphasis on counters instead of stances.
So far, so good. Love how once you get the hang on counter you just wreck shit up.
