Anyway the last thing I’m probably gonna say about my weekend is that Gillian Anderson referred to me as “the cat in the front row” which was silly, funny, and for someone who was in the fur-lined closet for so long, mortifying.

I had the most bizarre anxiety dream last night that I can’t stop thinking about. Today is the last night of FanExpo and we’re only here for a couple of hours so it’s the perfect day to fursuit, but it’s also the day of the X Files panel. I have a VIP pass so I knew I’d be in the front row. 🧵

Waking up, getting ready, thinking about eating breakfast before the con but realizing I’m too excited to eat. I feel an excitement I haven’t felt since I was a kid, buzzing with anticipation. I’m about to meet the heroes of my childhood and I can’t believe it’s happening at our local con.

This is a message for anyone who is finding themselves on the cusp of physical disability: just get the rollator, or the cane, or the scooter, whatever it is you think you don’t deserve because you’re not “disabled enough” just do it if you’re financially able.
