Anyway I met almost the entire core cast of the X Files and managed to make the worst anxiety face I’ve ever seen, but they were all so sweet and it was such a great moment for me.

The lovely thing about travel is finding new and wonderful ways to experience taste. Tried not my Nan’s Welsh Cake recipe from a cookbook I brought back from Wales last week, with Marmalade and Tea from the Valley of the Witches on my trip in Japan earlier this year.

Everyone’s mourning Nelvana and they did so much that influenced my childhood, but nothing moreso I think than one of the weirder movies that made me the freak I am today.

I haven’t been cooking for months, not counting Hello Fresh. Roommate is out of town tho so I had a nice relaxing dinner with whatever was in the freezer (in this case salmon) and a Suntory Yamazaki Highball while listening to Starlight Express.
