One thing that’s striking to be about this (excellent) account is that Lowery was confronted privately about how his conduct made his victims feel MULTIPLE times and did not commit to changing his behavior until he started to see professional consequences

“Attack plans” and “war plans” are very different according to @SecDef, because apparently, it doesn’t matter if anyone in the world finds out about attack plans.

Whenever our troops are going into harm’s way, info security matters. Resign.
Pete Hegseth: "Nobody is texting war plans. Well I noticed this morning, out came something that doesn't look like war plans. And as a matter of fact, they even changed the title to 'attack plans,' because they know it's not war plans."

Commissioner Slaughter and I just sued to clarify that we're still FTC commissioners. But this is bigger than us. This is about economic stability. If the President can break a 90-year-old Supreme Court ruling to fire us for no reason, he can do it to the Fed, the FDIC and SEC.

But building broadband networks to meet those goals is complicated. We have to do it right.

They added a rider to the Agriculture spending bill that would impede the FDA from issuing a new rule or guidance to prevent listeria from contaminating our food.

Congress must remove all the poison pills from any final spending package.

So, I thought I'd offer some thoughts on why this Administration's war against the First Amendment and Americans' free speech rights is going nowhere.

Republicans are lying when they say their budget does not cut Medicaid.

It directs our Committee to cut at least $880 billion, and 98% of what’s available to cut is either Medicare or Medicaid.

Trump says not to touch Medicare, so cuts have to come from Medicaid.
