Every one of these protests is a terrifying experience for the asylum seekers - the wider atmosphere in the country is horrible & Labour’s reaction craven. But it’s worth remembering how much of this is generated by politicians & media openly desperate for broad unrest which simply isn’t happening

I've really enjoyed running my first DnD campaign, and I don't think it's gone terribly, no one's ran away screaming at any rate.
Making stuff for my players and secret things, picking ambient music. Homebrewing a few creatures.

The problem with being sick and disabled in a not-immediately-visible way is that in order to get the help you need, people have to believe you when you say how bad things are.
But the minute you become sick and disabled in our deeply ableist society, no one sees you as a reliable narrator anymore.

The PMDD darkness is really bad this month. Haven't been this despondent in a hot minute. And somehow I gotta find the energy to face off with a GP about getting it diagnosed. AND I'm running out of GPs that aren't problematic in some way. TIRED.
