Apparently I am also practicing car hoarding, house hoarding, husband hoarding, dog hoarding, computer hoarding, furniture hoarding and art hoarding.

Chronicles of Riddick slaps.
And listen, I love big stupid fun movies. I will go to the mat for Chronicles of Riddick. I can think of at least three ways to fix this one, and they picked none of them.

Sigh.

Sad science fiction with an ambiguous ending

The ending recontextualizes the whole thing

The protagonist did this to themselves

The premise makes no sense so just shut up and enjoy the ride

Tom Cruise is running for some inexplicable reason

Knocked over my pour over set up this morning and sprayed grounds over the counter, the sink, the floor, and myself.

Choosing to see this is a great thing because I did it before I added the hot water, because that would’ve suuuuucked.

Apropos of nothing: It is vitally important to always have a person in your life that will not hesitate to, honestly and kindly, tell you when you are completely full of shit.

Wrote a nice little tea party scene with a zombie, a muppet, and a vampire.

This book is fun.

Noticed the settings were off so decided to disassemble, clean, and calibrate my coffee grinder *before I’d had coffee* which was a mistake but it is done and the coffee has been coffee’d and all is good

I don’t have anything to promote, so I’ll boost my friends’ book.

Check out Unrelenting for an urban fantasy with Ace rep. Bridget’s sister disappears. When Bridget fights to find her, she uncovers a conspiracy of magic.

The sequel, Undeniable, is up for preorder, too!

The librarian who taught 14 year old me about inter library loans changed my life.
I don't know who needs to hear this (except the 2 of you that I'm subtweeting in the kindest way possible), but reference librarians spend a sizable part of their day helping ppl learn to use computers or find the new Nora Roberts. Don't feel shy about bringing them weird research questions.

A martini is made dirty by adding olive brine.

I’ve decided m, and I do not wish to be corrected, that the same thing applies to dirty chai lattes.

Some time ago I purchased a dozen or so Platinum Preppy pens on the advice of @jasonlowrey.bsky.social, I left them in various pen cups around the house. Since then they’ve become the kids’ stock pen of choice, which makes me smile.
