And rather than driving the rich away, IPS researchers found that the number of millionaires has *increased.*

We live in capitalism. Its power seems inescapable. So did the divine right of kings. Any human power can be resisted and changed by human beings. Resistance and change often begin in art, and very often in our art, the art of words.

Breaking the premise, embracing the obstacles, pursing everything.

We actually aren't constrained into atrocious premises by thought exercises. Obstacles are a reason to fight, not an excuse to quit. Our friends and neighbors aren't distractions..

Liberals have been very concerned about mis- and disinformation in recent years, so when Mark Carney says carbon capture will allow for “decarbonized” oil, we should be clear that he’s engaging in active disinformation about climate change to please Danielle Smith and the Alberta oil industry.

looks like canada’s in for another summer of intense fires as our government talks about increasing oil production and building more pipelines
Canada is already in it with big fires and evacs in the thousands. The country looks poised to have large fires on the landscape from now until the snows come. That means Canadian resources will be overextended and not available to help others. Also, probably leads to smoke drifting into the US.

It's one thing to say, politically, Carney is 'right' to abandon carbon pricing. It's quite another to see so-called 'progressive' politicians REPEAT CONSERVATIVE LIES about the policy. Fucking hell.
