Hara-kiri and Goyokin for absolute classics, Sword of Doom as a very grim classic, Three Outlaw Samurai as well... Samurai Wolf and its sequel are both fantastic... Beyond that if you wanna get pulpier, Lone Wolf & Cub and Zatoichi series both match the hype and are worth at least visiting
